Space Hire
We offer two versatile spaces for hire, the Hall and the Studio, ideal for rehearsals, workshops, events and creative activity, with flexible pricing to support a wide range of users.
The Hall
The Hall is a flexible ground floor space which can be hired for rehearsals, meetings, performances and events. In addition to the main open space, the hall has a small private room, a seating area with sofas and a small rasied stage.
Size
- Capacity: Maximum 80 people, this may be reduced depending on configuration and use of the space
- Dimensions: 11m x 8m (main floor area) + small raised stage + seating area
Facilitites
- Furniture: 20 x plastic school chairs, 10 x 2 person benches, 16 x long blocks & 3 x small tressle tables
- WCs: 1 x accessible toilet with space & 2 x non-accessible toilets
- Kitchen: Has a kettle, microwave, toaster & fridge
- Heating/Cooling: Double glazing and an air conditioning/heating unit

The Studio
The Studio is a flexible first floor space which can be hired for rehearsals, workshops, meetings and events. This space is not accessible for wheelchair users.

- Capacity: Maximum 25 people, this may be reduced depending on configuration and use of the space
- Dimensions: 6m x 6m

- Furniture: 20 x plastic school chairs on request, 10 x 2 person benches, 4 x long blocks & 2 x small tressle tables
- WCs: 1 x non-accessible toilets
- Kitchen:
- Private kitchenette with a kettle and fridge
- Access to the ground floor kitchen that has a kettle, microwave, toaster & fridge
- Heating/Cooling: Windows are single glazed and the space has portable electric heaters and standard fans for temperature control
- WiFi: Available throughout the building

Hire Costs
We have a three tiered pricing structure in order to make our space as accessible as possible to our whole community. When enquiring you will be asked to identify which rate matches your circumstances.
- Standard rate: For businesses and organisations
- Community rate: For registered charities, CICs and independent artists/arts companies in receipt of funding
- Collaborator rate: For LYT members, grassroots community groups and artists/arts companies not in receipt of funding
