Pia Ashberry wrote Parched Lands for LYT over 18 years ago when technology, computers & gaming were very different. LYT performed a second version, around 13 years ago - still ahead of its time, this version saw LYT using projection in a show for the first time. This 3rd version of the show was developed and written with young people during the pandemic on zoom before our young performers were able to meet in person again and rehearse the show. 

It’s about climate change and how worrying about the future affects young people’s mental health. It was a great adventure!
