Junior Youth Theatre 2 + Senior Youth Theatre (age 12 - 18), July 2025
Responding to our 2025 theme - Change & Belonging and in collaboration with SMASHFEST our young companies explored climate change, focusing specifically on the impact of flooding.
Into the Ark
Our senior company (ages 15 - 18) created a performance in the round, where 9 defendants find themselves on trial for their crimes against climate change. Young people judge their testimonies as jury members - are the defendants guilty or not?

Waves of Time
Our Junior Youth Theatre 2 company (ages 12 - 14) created an interactive promenade performance on Ladywell Fields. Audiences travelled around the park and to three moments in time to discover the effects of the 1968 Lewisham flood. Our young performers ask - how is climate change affecting our borough and will things get better with time?
